US Open

Our open tennis tournament is annually played by ATP (men) and WTA (women) at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, United States.

This event has become famous because of its match scheduling which starts from Monday till Sunday with Monday as a rest day.

French Open

Next On all years, the tournament’s list is the French Open. This tournament took place at Parc Olesya, Bercy, in Paris, France, from 1921 to 1939 and 1940 to 1949.

From 1920 to 1929, it was called International Roland Garros, but after that, it became the French Open and took place there until 1959.

Then after two years, it moved to clay courts at Stade Roland Garros, where it stayed until 1977. It then moved to red clay courts at Stade de Court-Raymond Chatrier from 1978 to 1999.

Since 2000, the tournament has been played on green clay courts at Stade Roland Garros, where it continues to be played till today.

Summer Games Tennis Tournament

This is also called Wimbledon after Wimbledon Championships held in London, England, since 1877. The Summer Games Tennis Tournament was founded in 1912 at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and played on grass courts there.

Later it moved to Surbiton Club in Great Britain, where it remained until World War II when it was canceled due to scarcity of petrol.

After World War II, it returned to Trinity College Dublin, where it was played till 1983. Since then, it has been played at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, United Kingdom, since 1985 and on multiple courts.

BNP Paribas Open

The next big tennis tournament on our list is the BNP Paribas Open, first held in Indian Wells, California, in March 2009.

Since then, it has been held in Indian Wells every year till 2019, when it moved to BNP Paribas Open Palm Springs, which is now its permanent home.

This tournament attracts some of the biggest names in tennis, including Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Simona Halep, Kei Nish ikori, etc.  

WTP Finals

WTP Finals is a name given to ATP & WTA Finals held every year at the end of the season at O2 Arena in London. The first edition of WTP Finals was held in 2014; it has been held every year with prize money increasing each year.

It has attracted some of the biggest names in tennis, such as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, Stan Wawrinka, etc.

The winners of this tournament have also won an amount of money equivalent to US$6 million, which makes it one of the most lucrative tournaments in the World. 

ATP Finals

ATP Finals is another prestigious tournament held every year at the end of the season at O2 Arena in London. It was first held in 2005; it has been held every year with prize money increasing each year.

The winners of this tournament have also won an amount of money equivalent to US$4 million, which makes it one of the most lucrative tournaments in the World.

Laver Cup

Laver Cup is a 3-day event first held in Geneva, Switzerland, in September 2017.

It is a three-person team event between teams from Europe, North America, and World featuring top players from all over the World. It was named after Rod Laver, a former professional Tennis Player from Australia.

The event features ATP stars. Such as Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem..
